This headset hits it out of the park with a few unique details that many of the alternatives miss. A padded cap on the top strap boosts the comfort level, and a pair of horizontal guides inside the device allows you to set it up for your phone. Focus controls and venting on this headset are fantastic, and the perforated face padding does a great job of keeping you cool. Image quality was clear when watching or playing what?, although colors were slightly more muted than with our top pick. The overall build quality on this headset is second to none in this price range.

Shipping estimates for the iPhone X have improved to 2 to 3 weeks across Europe, suggesting Apple's efforts to ramp up supply and production are starting to see some success. The 2 to 3 week shipping estimates are an improvement over the previous 3 to 4 week shipping estimates that have been available since early November.

The new 2 to 3 week shipping estimates are available in all European countries where the device has launched, including the UK, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and more.

Poshmark raises $87.5 million Series D, eyes expansion.
The fashion resale social network Poshmark is announcing that it's raised $87.5 million in Series D funding.

The company also introduced a significant app update on Tuesday that lets sellers act as virtual stylists. It's called the Poshmark Stylist Match, and it gives sellers the ability recommend items in near-real time that are tailored to the style of buyers. In addition to the Poshmark app, users can also access Stylist Match via a voice-enabled skill for Amazon Alexa.

Poshmark -- which now has nearly 3 million registered sellers -- launched in 2011 as a digital consignment store and fashion marketplace with a mobile-first approach. Its goal early on was to a build a social network experience out of its web of buyers and sellers.

We Are Fuzzy unveils bedtime shooter Sleep Tight for the Nintendo Switch.
Sleep Tight is a shooter for the kid in all of us, going back to the days when we had overactive imaginations at night and feared monsters coming out of the walls. This inaugural game from indie studio We Are Fuzzy is an arcade-style, twin-stick shooter. The main character, who’s a kid, builds a base with pillows and furniture, and then he shoots his Nerf gun at the monsters as they attack from all directions during the night.

It’s kind of like having the creatures in the Monsters, Inc. film creep out of the closet and start attacking the lone kid. He has to fight back against them using his customized toy Nerf guns and use barriers to block them. It’s like an arcade shooter and a tower-defense game combined. The self-funded game will debut on the Nintendo Switch and PC in the first quarter of 2018.

“This game is wrapped in blankets of nostalgia,” said Maxx Burman, the creative director and cofounder of Los Angeles-based We Are Fuzzy, in an interview.

The Venmo mobile payment app boasts a huge user base, a sleek interface, flexible payment options and agility at splitting bills. Owned by PayPal, it's the peer-to-peer payment app to beat, as long as you don't mind getting social about the tabs you're picking up. Our only gripes are that it won't let you send or receive payments as a guest, and we wish it would let you adjust individual amounts when splitting a check.

Skype is introducing a new version of its telecommunications app geared toward online tutors and small businesses.

Known as the Skype Professional Account,  the new service will initially only be available on desktop and will be landing shortly in preview for U.S. users, who can apply for early access now.

The new Skype incarnation isn’t to be confused with the existing Skype for Business offering that promises enterprise-focused features such as support for 250 people in a single meeting, online broadcasting, presentation tools, and deep integration with Microsoft’s Office apps. The Skype Professional Account, by contrast, ushers in a bunch of new features aimed at those who make money through the internet, such as career coaches or those who give guitar lessons remotely.

Donald Trump Jr. seems to have told himself that if he just shouts "NOTHING TO SEE HERE LIBS" every time his name pops up in the news, his legal troubles will vanish.

On Monday, following an article in The Atlantic that described direct messages on Twitter between WikiLeaks and the president's oldest son, Trump Jr. tried to mitigate the news by ... simply leaking those DMs to the world himself, sharing out the messages in a series of tweets.

Yale Real Living Assure SL Lock review Yale’s next-gen lock makes significant strides.
To say that the original Yale Real Living Assure Lock wasn’t my favorite would be a gross understatement, and even Yale seems to have conceded that product’s faults, as the company is back with an update to the smart lock, the Assure SL. The Assure SL revises both the hardware and the software of the smart lock system, overhauling the ecosystem considerably. Let’s look at both in turn.

First, from a hardware perspective, Yale has given the exterior escutcheon of the lock a major upgrade. Now billed as smaller and slimmer than other electronic locks, the exterior of the Assure SL, once installed, is indeed impressive. About the size of a deck of cards, the touchscreen looks good and is relatively unobtrusive. Without the monstrous casing that surrounded the touchscreen in the original Assure, it looks less like a lock and more like a smartphone glued to the front of your door. (Of note: The 9-volt emergency terminal on the external escutcheon of the original, which let you operate the lock if the internal batteries died, has been jettisoned.)

As slim as a deck of cards, the new Assure SL keypad is a massive improvement.

Apple Reportedly Working on 3D Sensor System for Rear Camera in 2019 iPhones.
Apple is developing 3D depth sensing technology for the rear-facing cameras in its 2019 iPhones, according to a new report by Bloomberg on Tuesday. The 3D sensor system will be different to the one found in the iPhone X's front-facing camera, and is said to be the next big step in turning the smartphone into a leading augmented reality device.

Apple is evaluating a different technology from the one it currently uses in the TrueDepth sensor system on the front of the iPhone X, the people said. The existing system relies on a structured-light technique that projects a pattern of 30,000 laser dots onto a user's face and measures the distortion to generate an accurate 3D image for authentication. The planned rear-facing sensor would instead use a time-of-flight approach that calculates the time it takes for a laser to bounce off surrounding objects to create a three-dimensional picture of the environment.The existing TrueDepth camera would continue to be used in the front-facing camera of future iPhones in order to power Face ID, while the new system would bring the more advanced "time-of-flight" 3D sensing capability to the rear camera, according to the sources cited. Discussions with manufacturers are reportedly already underway, and include Infineon, Sony, STMicroelectronics, and Panasonic. Testing is said to be still in the early stages, and could end up not being used in the phones at all.

With the release of iOS 11, Apple introduced the ARKit software framework that allows iPhone developers to build augmented reality experiences into their apps. The addition of a rear-facing 3D sensor could theoretically increase the ability for virtual objects to interact with environments and enhance the illusion of solidity.
